Come join fellow NCBBA members on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 2:00-6:00pm at the Community Center in Rodanthe right on Hwy 12 for some fun and good eating as we get together again for our Annual Meeting & Pig Pickin.
We’ll first start off at 2:00 with our meeting where members will hear about the activity of our organization from over the past year and we’ll also hear from the NPS Superintendent, Mr. Dave Hallic, about what goals they were able to accomplish along with the future plans the Park Service have lined up. If you’ve never heard Dave Hallic speak about the NPS and what they are doing you’ve certainly missed out on some very informative topics. He and his staff are constantly working to make sure that visitors coming to the Island experience the best time possible during their visit.
After the meeting the fun continues with a meal consisting of Barbeque & Chicken along with all the sides and dessert and of course, we’ll have your favorite beverages as well.
On top of all of this, we will have some great raffle items that members can vie for and this year we will also be auctioning off a couple of original Wayne Blessing framed paintings. These paintings are breathtaking and would make a great addition to any member’s home.
Tickets for this year’s event will be $10 for adults and $5 for those 15 and under. You certainly can’t go anywhere else and experience all we will provide our members for that price.
