CANCELLED ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY (AAH) – September

ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY FOR 9/21/2024 CANCELLED

Because of near record rainfalls we’ve experienced in parts of Dare County this week, the ditches on the roadsides along our Adopt-A-Highway area are currently inundated with standing water. Even though that water may dissipate somewhat between now and Saturday the adjacent ground is saturated and extremely soft. We feel it is unsafe for our volunteers to work in these conditions and regretfully are completed to cancel this function.
