One (1) witness for release when reported to weigh station.
Rules and Regulations
All fish entered must be caught from the surf of North Carolina and the west side of the Outer Banks (sound) from Corolla
to the Core Banks by legal methods during the period of January through December.
Fish caught from boats are NOT allowed.
Only members of NCBBA, their spouses and their children, and NCBBA Junior Members are eligible. Those eligible can apply for as many citations per species
as desired.
Only one (1) jacket patch will be awarded per species.
At the end of the year´s program, special awards will be presented to citation winners who caught the largest fish (by
weight) of each eligible species.
All fish must be weighed or certified for length at one of the official NCBBA Weigh
Stations.
All entry forms must be submitted within 30 days of the catch.
One entry must be submitted per fish.
Largest Release: Striped Bass and Bluefish Contest
All fish entered must be landed in the surf or the sound in North Carolina as stated above.
Fish caught from boats are NOT allowed.
For the release contest, Bluefish and Striped Bass will be judged by length in inches.
Angler must have a witness, and fish must be released alive to qualify.
Anglers are responsible for insuring that the entry is accurate and complete. Incomplete entries will
be rejected without notice.
